TEJUS Rays of Hope

Tejus is the world full of hope for a group of mentally challenged children including some adults in Kuthanur, a remote village in Palakkad in Kerala, India. Established in 2003 as a charitable trust, Tejus is registered under Kerala Government as a non-profit, non-religious, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

Purely depended on the Supports, Tejus functions as a day care centre for the mentally challenged, looking after their welfare. Most of the children come from financially backward families. At Tejus, the inmates get personal attention in developing language and social skills, and get training to function as normally as possible.
