sivan

SIVAN
S/o Shri. Krishnan
Sivan cannot speak fluently. He can tell his and his family member’s names. He counts and writes from 1 to 10, recognizes colours like green, yellow, red and black. He has certain talents like dancing, singing and mimicking persons and things around him. He enjoys coming to Tejus. He used to loiter around much before joining, but the training at Tejus has helped him to change a lot for the better.

RAHUL
S/o Shri. Raveendran
Rahul cannot speak fluently. Whatever he utters is not clear. He can recognize his family members and others. He is a peace-loving child. He likes to draw and learn. He can write his name, he manages to travel alone in public transport bus to/from to attend classes at Tejus. He does his primary needs without the help of others. He can identify objects by seeing pictures. He writes from 1 to 10 and is interested in dancing.

GOKUL
S/o Shri. Rajan
Gokul can talk, but is not very clear. He can recognize his family members and friends. He was a violent child before joining Tejus, the training here has changed him positively. He does his primary needs without the help of others. He can count numbers from 1 to 10. He repeats whatever is taught to him. He can eat and travel without anyone’s help.

SHAMNAS
S/o Shri. Salim
Shamnas has dumb child, hence he cannot talk. He is very restless but after attending classes at Tejus, he is much calmer. He understands things, recognizes his family members and others, recognizes dangers, and listens to others. He used to do things very fast, but now he has slowed down a bit. He pays attention to carry himself neatly after coming to Tejus. He never attacks anyone, but he reacts violently when he is attacked or disturbed.

SREERAM
S/o Ramachandran
Sree Ram cannot speak. He is very restless. He can recognize his parents. He needs someone’s help to do his primary needs. At times, he is very violent. He cannot recognize anyone other than his mother and father. He cannot recognize dangers or colours. He cannot wear his dress or eat his food without anyone’s help. He cannot write. He brother Sreerosh is also similarly mentally disabled.

SREEROSH
S/o Ramachandran
Sreerosh, like his brother Sree Ram cannot speak. He somewhat manages to do his primary needs. He can recognize his parents. At times, he is violent. He cannot recognize dangers, colours or anyone other than his parents. He cannot put buttons on his shirt. He cannot eat or write on his own.

RAKESH
S/o Smt. Padmavathi
Rakesh and Krishna Kumar are bothers, they are both mentally challenged children. Rakesh cannot speak, though he often tries to speak. He cannot walk, but he tried to do so. He is a very calm child. He likes to learn. He knows to write numbers from 1 to 20, name of all the week days, and some words. He can write his name and home address. He can recognize colours, some birds and pictures.

KRISHNA KUMAR
S/o Smt. Padmavathi
Rakesh and Krishna Kumar are bothers, they are both mentally challenged children. Krishna Kumar talks very much. He takes little time to think before he speaks anything. He likes to learn. He is very calm. He knows to write numbers from 1 to 100, name of all the 12 months and 7 days, and he can write his home address. He can recognize colours and dangers. He manages to come to Tejus by public transport bus without anyone’s help.

RAMANATH
S/o Shri. Vella
Ramnath cannot speak clearly, though he constantly tries to talk. Before joining Tejus, he always used to sit at home. Now he likes Tejus atmosphere. He knows his name as well as the names of his family members. He can say names of some colours and vegetables. He does his primary needs without anyone’s help. He is very calm natured.

DIVYA UNNI
D/o Shri. Unnikrishnan
Divya can hear but cannot talk. She used to move very strangely as she always used to jump while walking. Training at Tejus has helped her to walk almost normally. She can recognize her parents, and people whom she see frequently. She can do everything but she is very lazy. She depends on others even to do her primary needs. Her days at Tejus have helped her to be calmer and to sit in a place at least for a while.

DEEPU
S/o Unnikrishnan
Unfortunately, Deepu doesn't’t have the ability to speak. He always love to walk, he cannot sit calmly in a place. He cannot eat food or do his primary needs without the help of others. He cannot wear his shirt or trouser on his own. He cannot recognize anyone else other than his parents.

SARALA
D/o Smt. Sulochana
Sarala talks really well. She likes to learn. She can recognize everyone. She knows and can write her name, home address, names of vegetables, names of 14 districts in Kerala, colours, names of months & weekdays, etc. She likes to sing and can travel alone. She likes Tejus atmosphere.

MANIKANDAN
S/o Shri. Pazhani
Mani has stammering but he manages to talk well. He recognizes everyone. He can recognize colours and dangers. He likes to sing and dance. He understands and listens in the classroom. He is very obedient. He likes to engage himself in work. He doesn’t like to learn or sit in one place for a while. He likes to watch movies.

SULTHANA
D/o Shri. Hamsa
Sulthana has impaired hearing abilities., hence she cannot talk well. She repeats observing the lip movement of others. She knows to write. She can recognize her family members and others. She can identify colours. She writes Malayalam alphabets, names of vegetables, fruits, weekdays and moths. She can even write numbers from 1 to 100.

SANTHOSH
S/o Smt. Pushpavalli
Santhosh doesn’t talk much, though he is capable of talking. He can recognize almost everything. He knows his name, place and address and other whereabouts. He can tell names of certain colours and birds. He learned all these after coming to Tejus. He likes to work and travel.

 

SOWMYA
D/o Smt. Geetha Diwakaran
Sowmya speaks but not very clearly. She can recognize everyone. A restless child, she is hardly obedient. She always goes from one place to another. She knows only the first Malayalam alphabet. She likes to sing and dance. She can recognize danger. Training at Tejus has helped us to be calmer to a certain extend.

GURUDAS
S/o Rajakumaran
Gurudas doesn’t talk, walk or hear well. His legs are weak and hence he cannot sit comfortably. He always needs the help of others. He can recognize only his mother.

SREELAKSHMI
Sreelakshmi cannot walk, as her legs are weak. She can recognize everyone. She likes to learn but she forgets what she learned very quickly. She likes singing. She can read and write. She does her primary needs on her own. She talks and draws well. She can recognize dangers.

SANTHAKUMAR
Santhakumar can speak but not clearly. He can recognize everyone. He does his primary needs without anyone’s help. He recognizes colours and also dangerous situations. He is very reluctant to attend classes and learn. He always likes to sit at home. He cannot write.

SHIBU
Shibu walks and speaks with great difficulty. He can recognize his family members and others. He has a slight problem with his eye-sight. He does his primary needs without the help of others. He can draw circle. He likes to travel in bus and learn. He can recognize things by seeing pictures.

ANJU
D/o Shri. Arumukham
Anju has speaking disability but she manages to say some words. He also has problem I hearing hence her understanding skills are very less. She writes her name and some words. She does her primary needs without anyone’s help. She recognizes everyone. She has a slightly developed memory skills. She dances well.

SAINUDEEN
S/o Smt. Amina
Sainudeen talks well. He has physical growth as per his age. He doesn’t like to read and write. He can recognize his family members and others. He knows his name and address. He is very naughty. He has a slightly developed memory and is very much sympathetic towards his friends. He tries to write his name, manages to eat food alone, recognizes certain colours and can tell his needs. He helps his mother in kitchen works.

LIJESH
Lijesh cannot move his right hand. He can walk well. He fights with others and is violent in nature. He often fails to attend classes at Tejus. He consumes intoxication things and is very adamant natured. He can read and write. He likes to copy. He sings well.

VISHESH
Vishesh has physical growth according to his age. He talks very fast, hence very difficult to make out what he is trying to say. He knows some English words and little bit of mathematics. He has studied till 10th standard at the nearby CA High School. He does his primary needs without the help of others. He does some work and manages to travel alone.

JAYAPRAKASH
Jayaprakash has physical growth as per his age. He always keeps smiling. He does his primary needs only with the help of others. He cannot read, write or travel alone. He is very obsessive about food and is always sluggish in nature. He is a calm child.
